Tenack Beach Resort – A Western Escape

Tenack Beach Resort is located in Beyin, WR a few minutes drive from Nzulezu and Fort Appolonia. They are roughly 2-hours from Takoradi and a 7-hour drive from Accra.

ACCOMMODATION

The resort has 20+ en-suite rooms starting from Ghc 310 for a standard room to Ghc 650 for the executive family rooms. My favourite is the Pool + Seaview rooms for Ghc 370.

Tenack is ideal for large groups and families. They have all-inclusive packages every holiday weekend. Honeymooners get Seaview Rooms packages that include candlelight dinner and tours.

MORE

To make your trip more interesting;

  1. Stop by Ankobra Bridge Resort for lunch when driving in.
  2. Have dinner at Maaha Beach Resort on one of the nights during your stay. (Maaha is 10 minutes away from Tenack)
  3. Skip Fort Apollonia and visit Princess Town and Fort Groot-friedrichsburg instead.

I love Tenack for the freshly made food and helpful staff but, the indoor facilities could use minor upgrades and fixtures. Otherwise, this resort is an easy 8/10!
